The input/output contact is used for reading or controlling connected external devices, e.g. security or fire systems.

The input/output contact is used to connect external devices, such as security or fire systems, or any application that requires control from the unit. It can supply up to 20mA when used as an output. The input power range is 0 to 5 V.
The contact is powered from the main device.
Connection extensible with a standard CAT 5/6 patch cable and a RJ45-RJ45 (CAT 5e) connector RMS-I-CON
The maximum length of the extension cable is 300 m
